In my last post I told you about the 10 best experiences of my round the world solo trip, but in life there are good and bad moments and traveling is no exception. I didn’t suffer any major mishap, but I did have some bad moments. Nothing too serious and today I laugh about them. Ready to laugh with me?
Chosing the best experiences of the trip has been a difficult task, I had so many intense moments! But here they are. As you’ll see, most of them are related to people. Even more: I believe that some of these experiences wouldn’t have happened if I had not been traveling alone.
This third month has been very intense and full of thoughts. I spent most of the month in Cambodia, the country that has left a deeper mark in my trip (and in myself). I present you my thoughts about being lucky, as well as a summary of the places I have visited and the special moments I have had this month.
How much does it cost to travel in Laos? These are my expenses during my trip in December 2014 and January 2015 from the north to the south of Laos.
There is only one border crossing from Laos to Cambodia, and it is a hard (corrupted) one. This is some information about the border crossing (including transport, visa on arrival and scams) completed with my experience crossing there in January 2015, and updated with the feedback from other travelers in 2016.
