This post is about the highlights of my two months and a half traveling in Penang, in which I lived in three different places, had many great experiences and made new friends.
Malaysia fascinated me from the first day, for its people, culture, landscapes, food. And Georgetown, in Penang, is a city I like a lot for its temples, street art, colonial houses and interesting meetings with people.
India is much more than the Taj Mahal. In this post I present you 10 places to visit in South India across the states of Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. This list features popular destinations as well as off the beaten path places, including cities, temples and nature.
During the last two days of the road trip we went from Mae Hong Son to Chiang Mai via Mae Sariang and Doi Inthanon. And it happened again: my best memories are not from the places, but people. A woman who gave us tea. And I learnt that it is important to smile, and give, in order to receive.
Travel gives us the opportunity to challenge our limits. In Mae Hong Son, where we stopped after several days on the road, I tested mine. One of the highlights of the city is to do a jungle trekking, and long treks are a challenge for me since I have a small problem in my back.
